In order to make this world better, just as it used to be in the old days, more and more car manufacturers are trying their best to minimize carbon emissions of their vehicles. The latest development is the field of cars is the development of electric cars which have zero carbon emissions.
Many car manufacturers have already manufactured hybrid vehicles with production capacity. The front runner in this category is Toyota Prius. Around the world Prius is considered as a breakthrough towards green revolution.
Now Toyota plans to launch 6 new hybrid cars by the year 2012 after seeing the success of Prius. Though Prius didn’t do well in India due to its high costs, we expect a cheaper and smaller hybrid car will be a good way to launch hybrid car in India.
Nissan Motors is supposedly all set to launch their small electric car Leaf. Leaf too has created enough curiosity amongst consumers around the world. Nissan will launch Leaf later this year in Japan and US and Toyota will reveal RAV4’s fully electric version.
