Zundapp K800 review

Zundapp K800

The German made Zundapp motors of 1934 was a real surprise package. The Zundapp K800 motorcycle was a horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine with shaft drive. The engine case enclosed the crankshaft, contact breaker, ignition coil, carburettor and dynamo. The removable cylinder heads were cast in aluminium. The motorcycle featured a tachometer as well as an anti-theft device. More specs and user manual of Tiggo you can see in next overview. Yamaha XT660X review

The Yamaha XT660X motorcycle - goes where you want. It is meant less to be used for rally but more for the serious traveler.Yamaha XT660 X seems to eat up most types of traffic and roads, it`s versatile and easy to ride, you can have as much fun as you can possible have on any bike riding at normal speed limits and keeping your licence safe. For 2004, the XT 660 X has been completely redesigned and now features a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor with a 100mm bore and 84mm stroke. The motor also features a forged piston running a compression ratio of 10:1 in a ceramic-composite plated bore.

Yamaha XT 660 X

A new fuel injection system with a 44mm throttle body feeds the all new SOHC, four-valve cylinder-head, and twin big-bore exhausts let the engine breathe nicely. The power delivery from the XT is very snappy indeed, the torque delivery is pretty flat and that just encourages you to get aggressive on the acceleration out of corners. This bike seems to handle all types of roads and every type of road surface you care to throw at it, it stable on fast roads and will tackle motorways for reasonable distances at well more than the legal limits. The Yamaha XT 660X is definitely the sort of bike you could ride every day, and you could have your dream bike sitting in the garage for those other special days.

Yamaha XT 660X

The XTX is a really easy bike to ride through traffic and the city, and it`s serious fun winding country lanes, in fact the narrower the roads the better the XT gets! With the super sticky sports road tyres, which are incidentally designed for much more power, you can put down all the power and lay it over as far as you like. More specs and user manual of Yamaha XT 660 X you can see in next overview.

Yamaha BT1100 Bulldog review

New Yamaha BT1100 Bulldog the machine with the 2-cylinder V-shaped engine, intended for travel and daily driving. Even on the lowest revolutions the motorcycle develops significant draft, and the box of transfers together with a drive of a wheel promotes optimum realization of potential of the engine. Yamaha has turned the person to fans of a prosaic life. Pay attention: the motor and transmission with minor alterations have borrowed from cruiser Yamaha XVS1100 Drag Star. He not powerful (65hp), but possesses the solid twisting moment of 88,2 Nm @4500rpm.

Yamaha BT 1100 Bulldog

With such characteristic only and to defile in fuses, not caring of switching transfers, and stately to leave from a traffic light. Due to that all sites are concentrated around and under the motor, the centre of gravity at Bulldog very low that promotes controllability and stability - one more bait for unsophisticated in management. According to designers, at designing the 2-cylinder V-twin the most necessary elements were used only. Therefore we have air cooling, one camshaft and two valves on the cylinder. Modern electronic control systems any to you and catalysts. But Bulldog does not pollute an environment - in an aluminium pendulum it is made the shaft which is not demanding special maintenance service. The machine it is far up to Buell Lightning - her nearest contender. Many considered, that Japanese have copied American - have not met yet with Bulldog 1100 closer. Image Yamaha Bulldog BT1100 on - is accurate and in an European way is silent. Landing a straight line, a pillow of a saddle elastic and wide, a rudder too wide and classically convenient. All as on Yamaha TDM850. The V-twin completely exhausts the opportunities, the pointer of a tachometer in convulsions is beaten at a red zone - everything, at Bulldog language on a shoulder. Confident dispersal up to hundred and draft up to 130 km/h to you is provided. More specs and user manual of Yamaha BT 1100 you can see in nextoverview.

Voxan Black Magic review

The Voxan Black Magic motorcycle are of course not mass built, but targeted to the passionate audience as Voxan exemplifies their passion of motorcycling. The Street Scrambler models, the Nouveau-Scrambler and Black Magic models, the Charade in 2006 and are all set to launch the Super Naked XV in 2008. All Voxan motorcycles use the same engines, a V-Twin with a 73° angle and 998cc of displacement. The Black Magic with its clear defining lines, a tight chassis characterizes the sophistication a biker may desire in a sports motorcycle.

Voxan Black Magic

The retro looking engine boasts of a 100hp V-2 mean machine and is meant for business and not just looking good. Although weighing at 210 kg, the fully adjustable Paioli Fahrwerk upside-down fork and horizontal absorber provides the rider always a safe feeling. Helped with the beautifully crafted footrests which are also adjustable. Its torque figures of 102Nm will ensure that your ride is smooth throughout with a smooth power development as well which can make it a good tourer bike although the positioning might be difficult for long tours.

Voxan Black Magic

Even the mileage is very good returning a impressive figure of 16 kmpl. The rpm is limited at 8000 and with such a high torque, there is ample of powerband between 6500 to 8000 rpm. In sporting terms, the soloseat saddle at 810mm, with the dome at the back and the exposed naked chain makes it a real stunner. The low handlebar also adds to negotiating the wind pressure and you will have all the whistles blowing at the top speed of 225 km/h. Vincent Black Lightning review

Vincent Black Lightning

This is Vincent Black Lightning was the first one in the USA. This motorcycle when owned by Joe Simpson, held the American motorcycles speed records three times. The first being unsupercharged and the following two being super charged. The bike was ridden by both Marty Dickerson and Joe Simpson. From the gloss black finish of the engine cases to the chrome rimmed upright speedometer and all the parts precisely torqued in place elsewhere, there is not a sign of illfitting tool abuse or stains from years of grime and use - the usual traits of age. The burble and rustle of moving parts aren`t smothered by the healthy exhaust note. TheVincent Black Lightning uses an air-cooled 998cc 50-degree V-twin with a claimed output of 55hp.

Vincent Black Lightning

Cheap Chinese trail bikes might have stronger front brakes, but then they are about half the weight of the Lightning. Left foot has to work the two rear brake drums - an alien concept that results in foot resting on the brake as pull from a junction only to stall it. Time to put into practice those forgotten preachings of starting a Vincent. More specs and user manual of Black Lightning you can see in next overview.

Vincent Rapide Series C review

The Vincent Rapide Series C motorcycle bolstered the Vincent reputation to new heights especially with innovations such as twin carbs and exhaust pointing forward rear cylinder V-Twin. Most of this engineering wizard was concealed by the petrol tank. With no frame to hold the engine, it appeared that the engine was now suspended in mid air with no visible means of support. It was in 44-th that Vincent dealerships started to emerge in the USA.

Vincent Rapide Series C

The dealerships liked the bikes, they were big, powerful and fitted the American idealistic dream. The Vincents reputation went before it when one such bike endured many miles of trouble free riding. However, early gearbox problems with a few bikes did knock some of the shine off the image and these problems were not fully resolved until 53-th when a new lightweight shifter was designed. Vincent motorcycles were reliable but nobody likes problems and mud sticks, in 2 more years it would all be over.

Vincent Rapide Series C

The Rapid Series A motorcycles was known as the plumber nightmare because of the jungle of oil tubes feeding the engine and was not the most desirable motorcycle of the Vincent Rapide line-up. Post war Series B to Series D were much more oil tight and more dependable in every way. The Rapide`s cousin, the Black Shadow had minor engine differences that developed 10 more horsepower and was dubbed the worlds fastest standard motorcycle in production at 125mph. More specs and user manual of Vincent Rapide you can see in next overview.

Vincent Comet C review

The Vincent Comet C can almost be said to represent the ultimate stage in the development of the production engine 500ccm. Its successor, the series Vincent D was certainly designed, but the decision to cease motorcycle production in 1955 meant that officially, only one Vincent Comet D was built although a few more were built up from spares during 1956th.

Vincent Comet

The Comet made its post war reappearance in 1949 and many of the components were common to the Rapide. The frame and forks were near enough identical and the engine being virtually half a Rapide. More specs and user manual of Vincent Comet you can see in next overview.

Victoria Bergneister review

The Victoria Bergneister motorcycle is a 350cc transverse V-twin, extremely robust, shaftdriven, with excellent castings and a classy deco design. There is no evidence that any bikes were produced in black or azure, though these options have appeared in print. The wheels were originally chromed with a stripe down the middle.

Victoria Bergmeister

The front tire is original and the rear tire is probably the second one. The Bergmeister was available with a solo saddle and a teardrop tank, or with a dual saddle and big, unattractive 4-gallon tank. It is possible the small-tank model doesn`t actually exist except in prototype, as every shot of a restored which have seen was of the "sport" tank model.

Victoria Bergmeister

The small tank itself existed, because it was used on a different Victoria model and was mounted on the display model of theproposed Bergmeister with wooden engine exhibited in 1951. And, mine has been fully chromed, speaking of tanks, where only the side panels were originally chromed. The motor is a thing of beauty and included were all the cast cover parts, and the chromed steel cone-shaped air cleaner cover. More specs and user manual of Victoria Bergneister you can see in next overview.

Victory Kingpin Tour review

The Victory Kingpin Tour holds a big advantage over nearly other big bike in the cruising genre, in that it is a turnkey custom that is ready to ride off the showroom floor. The classically styled flared fenders are sweet looking, with metallic trim accent. At the 2007 model launch in California got to ride the Kingpin again and it still handles better than any other Victory included the Hammer S. The chassis have been good for years so it is mainly the choice of more conventional tyre sizes that contributes positively in the handling department.

Victory Kingpin

Power comes from Victorys Freedom 110/6 V-Twin with overhead cams and four-valves per cylinder, plus EFI electronic fuel injection, and is routed to the rear wheel through a 6-speed transmission with true 6-speed overdrive and standard heel rocker shift lever. Exhaust exits through staggered right-side, slash cut dual pipes. The primary drive consists of a torque compensated gear, while the final drive is a carbon fiber reinforced belt. Which is a shame, because the excellent tractions afforded by the similarly up sized 180 series rear tempt you to taste the Kingpin excellent 4-piston front disc and drive deep into corners. Very few cruisers, even so called sport-cruisers, will embarass the Kingpin on a curvy road. More specs and user manual of Victory Kingpin you can see in next overview.

Victory Vision review

The Polaris launched Victory motorcycles and 6-years ago work started on the Vision luxury tourers. Six years and many million dollars later the Vision Tour and Street is a finished product.

Victory Vision

Nothing so far in Victory nine-year history would have led us to believe that they would make this machine. Well engineered traditional cruisers in the heavy weight V-twin mold have been the staple of its lineup. The Victory Vision - its touring machines have been standard cruisers gussied up with saddlebags and windshield. Victorys goal was a touring machine with American V-twin power but with the sophistication to stand up to the best long-distance machines in the business, the Honda Gold Wing and theBMW K1200LT. Some may have expected Victory version of Harley-Davidsons Electra Glide baggers, but, as Victory has learned, swaying the HD faithful is as likely to happen as dragging an alcoholic from the bar at happy hours.

Victory Vision

Big touring machines mean a lot of weight, so Victory began by enlarging its existing 50degree V-twin 100 cubic inch (1640ccm) engine to 1737cc by an 8-mm increase in stroke. Special attention was paid to the requirements of touring. Electrical capacity was boosted to 50amps from 39, first gear was lowered slightly while sixth was raised, and internal oil passages in the air and oilcooled engine were modified for more efficient cooling. A hydraulic clutch was added, and since the solidly mounted engine was going to be used as a stressed member, it was reinforced. The result is an engine that claims 109 lb-ft of torque and 92hp, with 100 lb-ft of torque available from 2000rpm. More specs and user manual of Victory Vision you can see in next overview.

Victory Hammer S review

Victory Hammer S

The Victory Hammer S is the latest product of Americas fledgling second motor company with a slightly sportier stance and image than the stock Hammer due to mean black slathered everywhere and gorgeous Performance Machine Gatlin wheels, the rear wearing a massive 240-section tyre. Performance cruisers dont come any flashier than the Victory Hammer S. Nowadays, in order to deserve that label, bikes must be truly sporty in every respect.

Victory Hammer S

They need to offer handling worthy of a German sedan, more importantly and outstanding rideability, ultra-short braking distances. In the motorcycling world, power is nothing without stability and control. Despite their excessive weight, some cruisers can keep up with sportbikes in terms of overall performance. The V-Rod, Road Star Warrior and of course, the Victory Hammer all come to mind. These motorcycles manage to deliver high levels of performance.

Victory Hammer S

The Victory Hammer S V-twin is a stormer, the brakes and suspension shame anything from Harley and all the controls are smooth and slick like only a quality, factory bike can be. More specs and user manual of Victory Hammer S you can see in nextoverview.

Victory Vegas Jackpot review

The new Vegas Jackpot motorcycle begins life where the Vegas left off. Also fit with the six speed, fuelinjected powerplant, the Jackpot Vegas is designed to compete with far more expensive custom models from smaller builders. The chassis is based on theVictory Vegas, but Jackpot has designed a new rear section for the frame and added a new swingarm, rear fender and seat. The company also fit a 250mm rear tire to follow current trends, added a custom styled headlight shell. The frame and swingarm are also colormatched to the aggressive new graphic designs.

Victory Vegas Jackpot

The front fork wears chrome as a standard feature. The Victory Vegas Jackpot is available in three radical paint schemes, as well as Black or Sunset Red. A straightup custom cruiser with the reliability and quality of a factory production bike, the VegasJackpot makes absolutely no compromises. The first thing youll notice is the deep, rich paint and ultrafat 250 mm rear tire. Look a little closer and you`ll see the color-matched frame, custom-inspired headlight and superlow 25.7 inch seat height. Of course, the Vegas Jackpot beauty is not only skin deep. Vespa GTS250 review

Following on from the success of the VespaGT, Italian giants Piaggio have recently launched the Vespa GTS 250. The GTS models looks pretty similar to the GT but has a few minor styling differences that help to set it apart. The mudguard crest, rear light, front horncasting light and the chrome folding rear rack are some of the most obvious changes. The GTS also boasts a neat digital display which houses a clock, fuel gauge, temperature and rev counter alongside the analogue speedo with its distinctive white fascia. Probably the most significant change though is the all new 250cc fuel injected engine which Piaggio claim produces 22hp and which makes it the fastest Vespa to ever come off the production line. Velocette Truxton Venom review

The Velocette Truxton Venom, designed in 1965 by Bertie Goodman, was almost an instant legend after a series of impressive results on various racing tracks, where its average speed often exceeded 100mph. This high performance production racer, which was also sold over the counter in road going version, was a perfect choice for both the fast touring enthusiast and the racing buff. Standard equipment on the Velocette Thruxton were rearward placed foot rests and brake and gear pedals, closeratio 4-speed gearbox, aluminium wheel rims, duplex front brake and John Tickle clipons. Output was a healthy 41hp, 5 more than the Venom.

Roughly 1000 Thruxtons were produced between 1967 and end of production in early 1971 with the dispatch of VMT1208C to Canada. Superbly engineered but built frugally in the Goodman family tradition, exhaust profiles were altered merely by reprofiling the lifters rather than replacing the cam. Velocette LE tool boxes became the new battery box and when John Tickle produced front backing plates became too expensive, they came up with their own slightly altered design. Subtle changes such as sand cast heads with different valve stem geometry to enable fitment of two-inch intake valves and hardened engine cases ensured these machines durably up to their cafe racer appearance. Extraordinarily narrow flywheels reduce crank flexing, need for bracing to suppress vibration resulting in a machine more akin to aVincent V-twin in operation than even that marques own single cylinder machines.
