In recent times, Kawasaki has released a host of new, key models that have been met with open arms in the market place including the Versys 1000, W800 and Ninja 1000. That tradition is not just limited to Kawasaki ’s motorcycle range however with the recent release of the new Kawasaki KVF300 ATV. The new 2012 KVF300 is a small, sporty, entry level priced ATV featuring many impressive “big ATV” features.
The adage “Good things come in small packages” is exemplified by the KVF300. Designed not only to meet strict company standards for safety and reliability, but also to ensure an easy-to-control package with the “Highest Riding Excitement” in its class and a high level of “Everyday Versatility,” the newest model in a line of highly acclaimed Kawasaki ATVs is loaded with enough sport and utility features to ensure it is worthy of the Kawasaki name.
The engineers saw no reason for the KVF300 to be lacking in riding excitement. The combination of a high performing liquid-cooled 271 cm3 SOHC, 2-valve engine with a CVT transmission and centrifugal clutch delivers great power feel, high controllability and natural engine braking. The sporty chassis adds both high straight-line stability and great cornering ability and large-volume flagship-inspired styling offers the looks and comfort of a larger-displacement machine.
Dual ø180 mm disc brakes gripped by single-piston calipers provide strong stopping power with good feel up front while a 3rd ø180 mm disc brake in the rear pulls the KVF300 up promptly and efficiently.
Throw into the mix some sturdy, off-road Maxxis tyres designed for good rigidity and excellent grip, two handy storage compartments, LCD display, convenient DC power socket and a generous towing and payload capacity and the Kawasaki KVF300 is at home and ready for work on farms and properties across Australia.
