Hyundai Tucson ix FCEV Development Update

Sometime ago, Hyundai announced the making process of its new variant Hyundai Tucson ix FCEV; this is basically the hydrogen-ix35 variant. Lately, the automaker shared another development of this will-be-new flagship, although it is later stated that the car is still being under development process. Before the release, this new car is scheduled to undergo a test drive. It will be released and put into production in 2015.

Hyundai Tucson ix FCEV OverviewHyundai Tucson ix FCEV is basically a new fuel cell SUV, which is said to represent the third generation of the automaker. This is a version of hydrogen-ix35, which means that it is equipped with two hydrogen tanks at 700bar pressure. An online automotive review wrote that even with below-0-degree temperature (say 25degree C); this car is capable of functioning properly without any engine problems.
Regardless of the fact that it will not only be marketed in Korea and most Asian regions, almost all advanced prototype’s components of Hyundai Tucson ix FCEV have been produced in Korea. At least 20% of this car’s volume organs that make up the fuel cell were reduced. Because Hyundai Tucson ix FCEV is still under the making process, there is very little information provided by the automaker regarding the car’s engine and other specification details. However, it is rumored that this car’s top speed is more than 370km/hour.
