Infiniti has reportedly confirmed plans to use the Mercedes MFA platform, which underpins the A- and B-Class, on the production version of the Etherea concept.
Speaking with Car & Driver, Nissan Executive Vice President Andy Palmer explained "If you have a product that handles like an A-class or a B-class ... you're in a very good place from a competitive point of view. And that's where we're trying to be."
Additional information is limited, but the car will be a hatchback that offers a variety of petrol and diesel engines. There's also word of a hybrid or EV variant, but nothing is official as of yet.
